We participate in Souper Bowl of Caring

every year on Super Bowl Sunday. Traditionally, the money is collected
by the young people and it is donated to the Community Kitchen of Monroe County.

Hannah House

It is a crisis pregnancy center to support those who have decided to become mothers,
giving new life an opportunity, in some very difficult circumstances. We
have a special collection for Hannah House in spring.

Monroe County United Ministries(MCUM)

MCUM is a place where human needs and child care are tended to with great care
and generosity - food pantry, child care center and other assistance. UPC supports
them throughout the year with a special collection and food drives.

The Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project in Uganda

UPC has supported Nyaka since its beginning. The benefit for the
Nyaka Aids Orphans' School is every November and in support of that benefit,
UPC will have a special collection. The school, begun by Jackson Kaguri and
Beronda Montgomery, provides free tuition, books, uniforms, health education,
sports and recreation, community gardens, access to fresh water,
and has a special children's choir.
UPC is the center of Indiana Friends of Nyaka and members at UPC volunteer actively.

Eye Clinic in Honduras

Valerie and Trevor Colby do a variety of mission work there, and have a focus
(no pun intended) on eye care, as well as other health issues.
